Group Classes at ESO

At ESO, all group classes are small and intimate by nature with a maximum of 10 clients per class. Teachers know their clients and students know each other. With this format our teachers are able to give hands on attention and guidance to all of our clients while providing a comfortable and safe environment suitable for all ages and demographics.

Teachers and clients are able to build and grow a relationship over time based on trust and the shared desire to learn and grow. Instruction is precise, thoughtful, and delivered with compassion as we understand that your mat can be a very vulnerable place. So come join us—elevate your mind, body, and spirit.

Gentle is designed to help you slow down in order to find the healing you need. Whether you are working with an injury, lack of movement, muscle fatigue/strain, chronic stress, emotional trauma, aging etc… Gentle yoga is about reconnecting to and being patient with your body in order to help you heal faster. The pace of class is slow and methodical giving you an opportunity to tune in to what’s happening on the inside. You’ll also have opportunities to strengthen, balance, and discover new healthy movement patterns. It is appropriate for all levels of students.

Restorative Yoga is a simple yet highly effective practice for recharging your entire system. Therapeutic in nature, this quiet practice releases the inner grip of your muscular, emotional, and energetic layers to help reduce stress, anxiety and other ailments. Restorative Yoga uses several props to support the body into positions of ease and comfort, so you learn how to release fatigue and strain. This practice supports your over well-being – especially sleep. Accessible to students of all ages, experience levels and body types.

Restorative & Reiki is a class that combines the supported postures of restorative yoga with the energy of Reiki to deepen your experience of healing and relaxation. Reiki is an ancient form of universal energetic healing that encourages a state of balance, harmony, and self-healing. Reiki enables you to access your innate healing energies so that you are able to release blockages, avoid distress, and achieve states of deep relaxation and healing.

Restorative & Sound Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. This combination class is designed to deepen your experience of healing and relaxation. While resting in supportive restorative postures you will receive the soothing vibrations of sound bowls, tuning forks, and voice to balance your heart center, re-harmonize the cells of your body, and shift the brainwaves of the mind into higher states of consciousness and peace. Sound can help with depression, insomnia, anxiety, pain management and so much more.

Vinyasa In this class you will build strength and vigor with an emphasis on breath, technique, and safe movement to enhance every day movement patterns. You can expect to sweat, breath, build body awareness and stronger connection between your mind, body, and spirit.

This class is appropriate for all levels as modifications are always an option. Props such as bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets are available for use in all classes.

Vinyasa & Sound In this class you will build strength and vigor with an emphasis on breath and the element of sound, vibration, and the language of frequency. You can expect to sweat, breath, and enjoy live sound elements via bowls, tuning forks, and voice. This class leaves you feeling refreshed, balanced, and in perfect harmony - mind, body, and spirit.

This class is appropriate for all levels as modifications are always an option. Props such as bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets are available for use in all classes.

"The Body" Mobility & Movement This class is intended to teach students more about the body from a rehabilitative approach. Mobility exercises to restore motion, core strengthening, alignment, fascia work, posture exercises, breathe work and more are all a part of this class.

Dr. Megan Kelly, DPT PT, our in house Physical Therapist, designed this class to teach students how to better take care of their body as well as get to know it more.

All levels and ages welcome. Whether you have an injury or not this class is for anyone.

Flow & Sound Restore This combination class begins with a 45-minute gentle flow to unravel the body and beneficially move energy throughout. In combination with deep breathing, fluid and meditative movement provides solid ground for the still and deep restorative work in the remaining 30 minutes of class. This restore portion is accompanied by a brief centering and woven with alchemy crystal singing bowls, essential oil aroma and sound chimes to leave you feeling clear, calm, renewed and ready for the rest of your day. A beautiful, harmonizing treat for all levels.

Meditation The benefits of meditation are boundless: from stress reduction to increased focus and creativity; to improved sleep and concentration; to overall better quality of life. During this 60-minute practice, you will explore proven meditation techniques such as conscious breathing, visualizations, mantras, deep relaxation, gentle movement, journaling and more. While there is no doubt that you will feel the benefits of meditation after just one session, in order to experience an integration of the benefits into daily life, regular practice is necessary. This class is designed to support you as you explore and cultivate your own personal practice. Remember to bring your journal and questions are always welcome – it’s how we learn from each other.

Energizing Flow A fun and invigorating morning yoga practice that gets you energized and set up for a productive, joyful day. This class is designed to wake you up, challenge your muscles, build stamina, and help you find your center; it gives you the opportunity to move more freely in your body with confidence and ease. You’ll finish your practice feeling invigorated yet calm and centered.

Pilates Mat A full body workout with an emphasis on the ‘core’, the breath, and precision of movement. Exercises are designed to enhance core strength, the front and back side of the abdomen, including the deep stabilizing muscles of the region, and the pelvic floor. Classes can be done on a Mat or on a variety of Pilates Apparatus that works through a system of tension making all exercises low impact and suitable for all ages and demographics. The work in Pilates is deep, focused, and connected. It will leave you feeling leaner, stronger, and longer with the ability to move with much more ease and comfort enhancing your everyday living and athletic performance.

Pilates Springboard (available as a semi - private and private appointments only) This class is a total body workout. The Springboard offers the abilities of the Pilates reformer tower, but in a Pilates Mat group setting. In this class you will build strength and flexibility by performing a combination of Pilates tower, Pilates Mat, and yoga movements in combination and in coordination with breath. You will improve flexibility, increase muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks. All levels welcome.
